    Public Winning The Battle Against Aspartame

    // 1 Comment »

    At long last the major UK supermarkets are flexing their corporate mucles and responding to the growing outrage regarding aspartame. Sanisburys, Walmart, Tesco, Marks and Spencer have each instructed their own brand name manufactured product suppliers to remove aspartame from their products. However, there is a down side and the front runner to replace it is seen as splenda or sucralose. Inside information suggests that M&S may be looking at Trehalose

    drawing

    I started using Smart Draw 3 some 8 years ago. So long in fact that no one at the corporate offices has a copy any more. I lost my copy of Smart Draw 3 missed it so much. Smart Draw is much more than a business drawing programme. It has such amazing educational resources for teachers and pupils alike. The maps alone are worth the cost of the programme. We begin here a series of lenses that attempt to show the scope and power of the software and in many areas.

    help for diabetes

    July 18, 2008 // Comments Off

    Diabetes is a debilitating illness that affects and blights so many people and the number is growing exponentially. This lens is born out of personal experience and the strong desire not to become a diabetic myself. That's a very personal thing because every one of my father's brothers and sister and himself has diabetes. All are what used to be know as type 2 diabetes or mature onset but as you'll see in the sections below that definition is changing. This site is about helping people NOT to become diabetics.

    Credit Cards - Myths and Truth

    July 16, 2008 // Comments Off

    The legends that grow up around credit cards aren't quite as easy for the average person to research and refute. Credit card issuers can be pretty close lipped about their practices, and even those who proclaim themselves experts in the field can get it wrong. So I talked to spokespeople from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover to get the scoop on their policies, and with Fair Isaac, creators of the FICO credit score, for details on how cards really affect your score.

    stirling engines - lesson 1

    July 15, 2008 // Comments Off

    If you've never heard of a Stirling Engine - all that's about to change. Stirling engines are very good at certain things and have potentially high efficiencies. This first lesson in Stirling Engines just gets the general principles across. Stirling Engines are not new they just haven't really reached commercial viability until now. Many of the large power companies are producing Stirling Engine Combined heat and Power Units for flats and large houses.

    This emotive and enthralling film is about the journey rather than the cast. Yes the cast area good but the journey continues beyond the film in many different ways. If a story births a movement then that has to be bigger than the film on its own. The cost to Hilary Swank in her relationship with her screen husband is total and they way it dawns is emotional and well played by both of them.
