• Inflammation of the Nerves

I’m fascinated by the emergence of new understanding and today is no exception. MS is a label given to patients who get ticks in a specific number of boxes on a list.Part of that list is nerve inflammation and that’s the subject of my thoughts today.

Inflammation can be caused by many factors including:

    • viral attack - influenza, common cold, epstein barr etc
    • bacteria
    • physical stress and trauma
    • emotional stress and trauma
    • genetic factors

The common pharmaceutical way to reduce acute inflammation is very often the use of Steroids, often in massive amounts - leading to long term complications.

Recently I came across a case where the person concerned used a complex form of plant extracts that provided the raw materials the body requires to ensure complete glycosylation of cells. This did not in itself enable the body to deal with the inflammation fully and only when Trehalose was added to the equation did the inflammation begin to decline.

    Other things used were:

    • powerful synergistic antioxidants - to combat free radical damage
    • homeopathic remedies
    • Garlic for circulation
    • cinnamon for inflammation and anti-bacterial function
    • and turmeric for calming down the possible effect of a run-away repair reaction
    • a clear strategy for alkalising the body.

This approach takes time but give it 3-6 months and anything is possible.
