Books we
recommend
|
|
|
This book is certainly the best ever
if you are looking to find out what
direction you should be going in, your
talents and strengths. It is far more useful
than Myers Briggs in my opinion. It has an
access code in the cover which gives
complimentary access to the program called
Strength Finder found at
Strengths Finder Now, Discover Your
Strengths Web site - this module
normally costs $25.00 or more. So if you buy
a book for £3.49 it is great value.

The Cost of Being Sick- Nicholas J.
Webb
|
|
In
this book Nicholas Webb confronts
the reality of the worlds
'healthcare system' head on and
doesn't pull his punches. This book
is not suitable for those of a
nervous disposition as he exposes
the poverty that is our healthcare
system. based upon current studies,
The cost of Being Sick follows
todays's trends to their logical
conclusion.
In
the book he makes a compelling case
for preventative wellness
intervention - in other words
investing in preventative measures
that support being well. It makes
financial and emotional sense
whether you take it at national or
personal levels. But watch out if
the governments don't adopt this
approach - we will be heading for
national bankruptcy. |

Cholesterol - Facts and Fantasies -
Judith Decava
|
|
Judith DeCava is a pioneering writer
who has bucked the trend of
beleiving what the Pharmaceutical
companies have told us 'as true'. In
this book she exposes many of the
myths we 'know as truth' but are in
fact a lie born out of profit
motives by the drug companies.
Implement what she suggests and the
results are obvious to see.
Could
it be that the obsession with 'low
cholesterol' diets of the last 30
years has resulted in the explosion
of neurological disease - Multiple
Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease,
Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia
and others? You do your research and
come to your own conclusion. |

Bountiful Health, Boundless Energy,
Brilliant youth - Dr Neecie Moore
|
|
The
title alone is enough to get Dr
Moore locked up in many countries.
However, if you read into the
subject she exposes so eloquently in
this book a picture emerges that
DHEA (from the extract of the
Mexican Wild Yam) can in fact
support the body's natural ability
to bring the hormone or endocrine
system into balance. In the book she
explains why supplementing with
plant based estrogens is not the
answer because they enter the
hormone pathway at the bottom and
very often the problem is much
higher up and it is very difficult,
if not impossible for the body to
backwards convert Oestradiol,
Oestrone etc to higher level
hormones.
This
book can revolutionise your health
but you have to read it first or
talk to someone who knows what they
are talking about. |

The Glucose Revolution
|
|
The
Glucose Revolution is at best a book
series that seeks to educate us to
the perils of having a diet that has
way too much simple starch and
thence too much glucose in our
systems. These two pocket books are
a great place to start as they
explain in simple terms what you
need to do and what to avoid. They
don't really cover the detail but
the do contain the advice you might
want to keep in your handbag,
briefcase or desk at work.
Much
more advice is available on the web
