The historical model of healthcare revolves around pharmaceutical companies trying to produce a drug that alleviates a symptom.
- Headache – paracetamol
- Cancer – Chemotherapy
- Inflammation – Steroids
The problem with this model is that it’s designed to produce money for shareholders and companies. Don’t be under any illusion it is not about making you more healthy. In many cases it is all about getting you on a drug and then getting you on another to alleviate the symptoms of the first. Continue reading
